Bar Time LLC ("Bar Time Pass", "we", "our", or "us") operates the Bar Time Pass mobile application and the website bartimepass.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account information: Full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and physical address when you create an account.
Payment information: Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. We retain transaction records including amounts and booking references.
Location data: Approximate location (city/region level) to show bars near you. We do not track your precise GPS location continuously.
Usage data: App interactions, bookings made, F&B orders placed, and rewards earned.
Account identifiers: User IDs and session tokens to authenticate your account.

To process bookings, payments, and F&B orders

3. Age Verification

We collect your date of birth to verify that you are at least 21 years of age for alcohol access. Your date of birth is stored securely and used solely for age verification purposes within the app. Patrons under 21 receive a Non-Alcoholic designation on their QR pass and are shown only food and non-alcoholic menu items.

4. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Bar Time Pass does not store your payment card numbers. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy. We retain records of transactions including amounts, dates, and booking references for accounting and dispute resolution purposes.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in these circumstances:

With bars: Your name and booking confirmation are shared with the bar you book at so staff can verify your entry.
With service providers: We use Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Twilio (SMS), and SendGrid (email) to operate our services. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
For legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Mobile Messaging: We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in consent is used solely to send transactional notifications related to your Bar Time Pass account, bookings, and rental invitations. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@bartimepass.com. Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure database storage, and JWT tokens for authentication. QR passes use cryptographically signed tokens that cannot be forged.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate information
Request deletion of your account and data
Opt out of marketing communications
Export your data in a portable format

9. Children's Privacy

Bar Time Pass is intended for users 18 years of age and older (21+ for full alcohol access). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use of Bar Time Pass after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
